We heard many things about this “grape looking” seaweed, that media is portraying as if it will end Tourism in the area 🤷🏽♂️. We know where it comes from, we know the possible causes for its fast growth and we certainly know which areas are affected by it.
But why is it that millions of tourists are still choosing Playa del Carmen as their vacation destination? Is it possible that keeping negative news alive is beneficial for most media channels, and that this is a great opportunity to gain more views (or clicks 😆)?
